I'd always use direct monitoring for voice if available. ![]() Turn it off and back on again and it's fixed.Personally, I notice a lag even when recording through the computer at a buffer size of 128 samples, even with no autotune. ![]() There is most likely a another plugin you're not aware of thats needing the buffer, or your buffer setting is too high, or you have an interface issue OR you have noticed there's a BUG in AT8 where Live Mode doesn't always engage even when it says it has (when you copy channel to channel etc). Of the three biggest DAWs used for EDM production (Logic Pro X, Fl Studio. change to 64 if need be, but honestly your talent is just being a freak if that needs to happen. Autotune has become the household term for any form of pitch correction. There is technically a small one, but that's from the buffer. With a DAW buffer setting of 128 in Logic X, you should be able to record without any "lag". I've been doing it for a long time, and sold my Auto-Tune Live license when AT8 added the live option. Using Auto-Tune 8 in Live Mode (or Auto-Tune Live plugin) you can record with no lag/buffer issues. ![]()
